Your receiving method is the bank account you use to get paid in Melio. This guide will walk you through the steps to update it if you ever need to.
How to change the receiving method
You can change your receiving method in a few simple steps:
1 - Sign in to your Melio account.
2 - Select Settings from the left sidebar.
3 - In the Get Paid section, select Receiving methods.
4 - Here, you can see your existing receiving method. To change it, select a three-dot icon. In the pop-up menu, select Update account.
Please note: If you don’t have a receiving method set up yet, select Add this method to add one.
5 - A pop-up window will ask you to confirm the receiving method change. Select Continue at the bottom right of the window to proceed.
Once the new bank account is verified, all scheduled and future payments will be sent using the new receiving method.
6 - You will now be prompted to the bank account verification process through Plaid. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process.
That’s it. Your new receiving method will be ready after you finish verifying the bank account.
