How can I add different tax rates for my invoices?

Need to apply different tax rates to your invoices? You can add different tax rates and use them when creating the invoices. Melio offers you two ways of doing this:

Adding a tax rate in the Settings

1 - Sign in to your Melio account.

2 - Select Settings on the left sidebar. 

3 - In the Get Paid section, select Invoice items.

4 - In the Invoice items, select the Tax tab. 

5 - Select the Add tax button.

6 - An Add tax pop-up window will appear. Here, you can enter the service charge details:

  • Tax name
  • Tax rate
  • You can set the tax as the default

 7 - After submitting all the details, select Apply at the bottom right to complete the process.

That’s it. You successfully added a tax. This way, you can add taxes with different names and rates, which can be used for your future invoices.
