This article explains how to delete your subscription payment method (bank account or card) from your Melio account. The subscription payment method is the payment method you have chosen to pay your Melio subscription fees.
❗Important note:
- You can delete the subscription payment method if your subscription plan is Melio GO or the next billing cycle is for Melio GO.
- If your next billing cycle is for Core or Boost, the subscription payment method cannot be deleted. In this case, you’ll need to cancel your subscription first. Check out this article for step-by-step instructions on how to do that.

How to check what your subscription payment method is
1 - In your Melio account, select Settings at the bottom left of the screen.
2 - Select Plans under the Payment & Billing section.
3 - Your subscription payment method will appear under the Billing method section.

How to delete your subscription payment method
1 - In your Melio account, select Settings at the bottom left of the screen.
2 - Select Payment methods under Payment & Billing.
❗Important note:
- Deleting your payment method will remove it from your subscription and any other payments, so you can no longer use it to pay vendors.
- To keep paying your vendors with this payment method, add it again.
- Alternatively, you can change your subscription payment method without deleting it, allowing you to continue payments to the vendors as usual.
3 - Find the desired payment method and select the three dots icon. Then, select Delete.
That’s it. The payment method will be removed from your account, and you will see a confirmation message at the top of the screen.
