Important note:
Deactivating your Melio card is permanent. There is no way to reactivate the same Melio card after the deactivation process is completed.
How do I opt out from Melio card?
You can only opt out by contacting the support from inside your Melio Card dashboard. Other Melio support channels can't process this request.
1 - Log in to your Melio account and go to Melio Card in the navigation.
2 - Select Manage in the top right corner, then select Contact support.
3 - In the pop-up window, enter your phone number and describe that you'd like to stop receiving payments to Melio Card, then select Submit.
Always use ‘Contact support’ button from inside the Melio Card dashboard for this request, since this request needs to go to Melio's card partner, CapitalOS.
4 - Once submitted, you'll see a confirmation. A representative from CapitalOS will respond within 2 business days.
What happens to my card?
Your card doesn't freeze the moment you submit your request, and your dashboard won't change right away. Melio's card partner, CapitalOS, handles the process from there, and your card becomes permanently inactive once it's complete.
What happens to my balance?
If you have a balance, CapitalOS will ask you to provide your bank account details to initiate a withdrawal.
Can I use Melio Card again later?
Opting out is permanent. If you want to use Melio Card again in the future, you'll need to sign up and complete business verification again, and you'll be issued a new card.
