Things that may affect payment delivery time

  • Delivery time may be delayed due to compliance and risk reviews as required by Melio and/or banking partners.
  • When choosing your payment deduction date, Federal Holiday dates will be blocked on the Melio calendar. We recommend scheduling payments sooner so they get to your vendor on time during the holidays.
  • When submitting a payment to a vendor for the first time, we may need a little extra time to review the payment. Schedule these in advance to avoid any delays.
  • If you're sending a vendor a request to fill out their payment delivery details, the estimated delivery time will depend on when they fill out their details.
  • Please note that when they receive a payment notification, Vendors can choose to expedite their payments on their end. In such cases, vendors incur the added cost.
  • We recommend attaching an invoice whenever possible to prevent compliance delays.

It's easy to track the progress of your payment with the payment progress bar.
