When managing your accounting firm’s Melio account, you have control over each team member’s level of access. You can grant full access to all account features or limit access so team members can only view the clients assigned to them.
This article explains how to manage access levels within your accounting firm’s Melio account.
If you wish to adjust the access level to your client’s Melio accounts, you’ll need to assign them a specific role. Check this guide for more information.
How to change the access levels within your firm’s Melio account
1 - Sign in to your firm’s Melio account.
2 - Select Team on the left sidebar.
3 - Find the team member from whom you want to unassign clients.
4 - Select a three-dot icon next to the chosen team member.
5 - Select Edit firm access from the actions menu.
6 - An Edit firm access window will appear. Here you can manage the access level of a team member:
- Give full access to the firm’s Melio account: Check the box as shown in the picture below.
- Give limited access to the firm’s Melio account: Uncheck the box. In this case, the team member will only see the clients assigned to them when signing into the firm’s Melio account.
7 - Once finished, select Save changes.
Please note: If you gave full access to the team member, you will see “this firm” next to their name.
That’s it. You can now manage your team members’ access level as needed.
