If a team member no longer needs access to your firm’s account, Melio makes it easy to remove them. This guide explains how to remove team members from your accounting firm’s Melio account.
Please note:
- Only the owner and admins of the accounting firm can remove team members from the firm’s account.

How to remove a team member from your firm’s Melio account
Follow these steps to remove a team member from your firm’s Melio account:
1 - Sign in to your firm’s Melio account.
2 - Select Team on the left sidebar.
3 - Find the team member from whom you want to unassign clients.
4 - Select a three-dot icon next to the chosen team member.
5 - Select Remove member from the actions menu.
6 - A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the action. Select Yes, remove member.
That’s it. You successfully removed a team member from your firm’s Melio account.
Please note:
- Removing a team member from your firm’s Melio account doesn’t affect any of your clients.
- You can assing another team member to the clients if needed.
