How to add a customer using the Melio mobile app

Adding a new customer in the Melio mobile app allows you to quickly and easily request payments from them. This article guides you through the process of adding a new customer directly from your Melio mobile app.

This article is for the Melio iOS app.

Adding a new customer in the Melio App

1 - From your Melio mobile app, select Get paid at the bottom of the screen.

2 - On the Get Paid dashboard, select the plus icon (+) at the bottom right.

3 - From the actions menu that appears, select Add a customer.

Alternatively, you can select Add a customer at the top of the home screen.

4 - Depending on the selection, submit the customer details:

  • Customer business name (at least 3 characters long)
  • Contact first name
  • Contact last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

5 - Select the Add customer button at the bottom of the screen.

That’s it. You successfully added a new customer, and they are now ready to receive a payment request from you. 

The customer will now appear in the Customers tab.

You can continue by requesting a payment or just close the page.
