Search and sort items in Pay

In Pay, you can see your vendors, bills to pay, scheduled payments, and more. To navigate through them quickly, search and sort to find the items you’re looking for in seconds.

Additionally, you can filter the items in the Bills and Payments tabs. Check this article to learn more about the filters tool.

How to use the search tool

The search tool appears under the name of the opened tab. 

Type what you want to find and press Enter or select the magnifying glass icon to see the results.

Available search options for different tabs

Here are the search criteria available when different tabs are open:

  • Vendors tab:
    • Vendor’s name
  • Bills tab:
    • Vendor’s name
    • Bill number
    • Bill amount
  • Approval tab:
    • Vendor name 
    • Bill number
    • Payment amount
    • Payment ID
  • Payments tab:
    • Vendor name 
    • Bill number
    • Payment amount
    • Payment ID

How to use the sort tool

The sort tool allows you to sort the items in the preferred order. You can sort the items by different columns depending on which tab is opened. 

To use the sort tool

1 - Select the desired column. 

2 - The items are now sorted. You will see an arrow pointing up or down next to the selected column name.

To change the sorting order, select the column name once again.

These are available sorting options depending on the data type:

  Arrow up Arrow down
Text From Z to A From A to Z
Dates Earliest First Most Recent First
Amount or numbers Lowest to Highest Highest to Lowest

Note

  • You can sort the items by one column only.
  • Different tabs have different sorting options.
  • Not all columns are sortable. If you select a column that is unavailable for sorting, the order of the items will not be changed.
