This guide explains how to use Melio’s Pay dashboard filtering tools to easily manage your payments and bills. You can filter by payment status, date, delivery method, and more to stay organized and track your financial activities efficiently. Whether sorting payments or viewing upcoming bills, these filters help you find what you need.
There’s a whole set of filters available. Select the Filter button next to the Bills or Payments tabs search bar to take a look.

Payment tab filters
You can filter your payments by the following criteria:
Payment status filter
The Payment status filter lets you view payments based on their status.
You can select one or more payment statuses at the same time.
Debit date filter
Use the Debit date filter to select payments based on their debit date. You can choose from several predefined ranges.
You can also select a Custom date range for a more customized search.
Once you select this option, you'll have three ways to filter:
- From a Specific Date: Filters payments from the date chosen to today.
- To a Specific Date: Filters payments up until the selected date.
- Between Two Dates: Lets you view payments within a chosen date range.
Delivery method filter
The Delivery method filter helps you sort payments based on how the funds are delivered to a vendor.
You can select multiple delivery methods to narrow down the search.
Payment frequency filter
The Payment frequency filter allows you to view one-time or recurring payments.
That’s it. You can now easily manage the filters in your Payments tab.
Bills tab filters
To manage your bills, you can apply these filters:
Creation date filter
You can filter bills based on when they were created. There are a few predefined date ranges available.
You can also use the Custom date range option to set your desired dates.
Bills due date filter
This filter allows you to view bills based on their due date.
The ‘Due later’ filter shows bills due more than 30 days from today.
You can also set your Custom date range.
Bill type filter
Use this filter to choose between unpaid bills or bills to review.
That’s it. You can now easily manage the filters in your Bills tab.
Applying multiple filters
Melio allows you to apply several filters at once. This feature helps you narrow down your results to what you need, whether for payments or bills.
You can set up different filters one by one and see all the selected filters below the Filters button.
That’s it. You can now apply multiple filters to your payments and bills.
How to clear the filters
If you want to remove a filter, select the X next to the active filter to clear it.
To clear all active filters, select Clear filters as shown below.
That’s it. You can now clear your filters with ease.
