Every Melio account can have one account owner only. If you’re currently the account owner and would like to assign this role to someone else, this article will walk you through the process.

How to change the account owner
1 - Select Settings on the left sidebar.
2 - Under the Company section, select User and roles.
3 - Select the three-dot icon next to the user you want to make a new owner of the account.
If the user you want to make the new owner isn’t already in your users list, you need to invite them first. They’ll need to accept the invite before you make them an owner.
4 - Select Make owner from the dropdown list.
5 - A pop-up window will appear. Select a new role for yourself from the drop-down list.

6 - Select Transfer ownership to complete the process.
That’s it. You're no longer the owner of this Melio account.
