Yes! With Melio, you can easily pay eligible vendors outside the US. They don't even need a Melio account to accept payments.
You can make international payments to vendors across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and other regions. We're continuously expanding our coverage. You can see our complete list of supported countries here.
What you need to know about international payments
Payment methods and delivery:
- You can pay via ACH bank transfer, Mastercard, or Visa credit card.
- All international payments are delivered as wire transfers to your vendors.
- Melio only supports international payments that originate in the United States.

Currencies and locations:
- Melio supports international payments in USD and multiple foreign currencies. We're continuously expanding our currency options. You can see our complete list of supported currencies here.
- International payments currently can't be made from businesses registered in Texas or Vermont.
- Puerto Rico is not considered an international payment since it is legally a US territory.
Processing times:
- Payments over $100K will take an additional 1 business day to process
- Delivery may be delayed by weekends, holidays, errors in payment details, or the number of intermediary banks involved. Learn more about our payment delivery timelines here.
Unsupported industries:
There are certain industries that cannot be supported. Vendors involved in diamond, charity/donation, and non-profit industries are not eligible to receive international payments through Melio.
Vendors with multiple addresses:
When you want to make an international payment to a vendor with both a domestic and international address, you'll need to create two separate contacts in Melio. Learn more here.
