How to send multiple invoices at once

  • Updated

Instead of sending invoices one by one, you can select multiple invoices from your Invoices tab and send them all at once. This works for unsent invoices and for invoices you've already sent — Melio sends a reminder for any invoice that's already gone out.

How to send multiple invoices at once

1- Select Get Paid in the left sidebar.

2- Select the Invoices tab.

3- (Optional) Use the search bar or filters to narrow down the invoices you want to send. You can filter by status, due date, or whether an invoice has been sent or not sent, and search by customer or other invoice details. You can also skip this step and select directly from your full invoice list.

4- Select the checkboxes next to the invoices you want to send.

To select every invoice on the page, select the checkbox at the top of the table.

Your selection carries over if you move to another page, so you can select invoices across multiple pages before sending. You can select up to 100 invoices at once.

5- A summary bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing the number of invoices selected and the total selected amount. From here, you can select Clear selection to start over, or select Send invoices.

6- A window opens showing how many invoices will be sent. Review the details, then select the Send invoices button (the number reflects how many you selected) to confirm, or select Cancel in the bottom left to go back.

If any of your selected invoices can't be sent, you'll see this broken out separately, along with the reason: the invoice may be missing required details, still be a draft, or already be paid.

That's it! Your selected invoices have been sent, and you'll see a confirmation message at the top of your Get Paid dashboard letting you know how many invoices were sent.

If you select invoices that were already sent, Melio sends your customer a payment reminder instead of a duplicate invoice.
