Melio Secure Payment allows you to create virtual Cards to use for your online business payments.
This article will show you how to enroll in Melio Secure Payment.
Here’s how to enroll:
Secure Payment is available only to Melio accounts that have an American Express Card connected as a payment method.
For such accounts, Expenses will appear in the left sidebar.
1. Sign in to your Melio account.
2. Go to Expenses in the left sidebar.
3. Click Enroll now.
You’re redirected to the American Express portal. Follow the enrollment steps.
When you’re done, return to your Melio account.
We’re connecting you from Melio's side as well. This might take a few seconds.
That’s it, you’re all set. Create your first American Express virtual Card by clicking + Create Virtual Card. Alternatively, install the Chrome extension to use your American Express virtual Card during online checkout.
Have more than 1 American Express Card?
You can connect multiple American Express Cards to Melio Secure Payment.
There are 2 ways to connect additional Cards after you already connected your first one:
Here’s how to do so through Expenses
1. Go to Expenses in the left sidebar.
2. In the top right corner, click the connected Card.
3. Select +Enroll new American Express Card from the dropdown list.
You’re redirected to the American Express portal. Follow the enrollment steps.
When you’re done, return to your Melio account.
4. Go back to Expenses.
5. In the top right corner, click the connected Card.
6. You can see the new Card was added.
Here’s how to do so through Settings
1. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
2. Select Expenses.
3. In Your connected American Express Cards on the right, click Enroll new American Express Card.
You’re redirected to the American Express portal. Follow the enrollment steps.
When you’re done, return to your Melio account.
4. Go back to Expenses under Settings.
5. In Your connected American Express Cards on the right, you can see the new Card was added.
